Mike Martin has been a sports car racing fan since the early 60's. Along the way his has collected books, programs, photographs, lap charts, and memorabilia about sports and formula car races.

Mike has also contributed to other books such as Pete Lyons's "Can-Am", Janos Wimpffen's "Time & Two Seats" and "Elva", Tim Considine's "American Grand Prix", Dick Wallen's "Riverside - Palace of Speed" and others.

To get his competition fix, Mike ran track and cross-country races from his teens to 40's. Now he is getting in shape for bicycle racing.

Currently, Mike is writing for Vintage Drift magazines and is working on the Shadow Race Team book. Mike also has a blog called "Sports Car Racing Through Time" at: grimeheel.blogspot.com

Mike lives on Camano Island, Washington with his fiance, Maggie McNeill.
