A must have for the Porsche 917 aficionado July 1, 2023 Reviewer: Kirk Sealls from Bellevue, WA United States   Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this book before it goes out of print! The amount of detail is staggering, including scans of original race data sheets from John Horsman (if I recall correctly from a personal conversation I had with Mr. Gillotti, these sheets were the ones his secretary typed up based on his handwritten originals), meticulous original research into the full history of each Gulf chassis - during and after their tenure with team - and more! If your pocket book can manage it, I’d even recommend the publisher’s edition of the book, which includes in its appendices the full collection of John Horsman’s data sheets, rather than a subset. Excellent content and incredible pictures January 12, 2022 Reviewer: JUAN HINESTROSA from Fort Lauderdale, FL United States   Great book; the author , J. Gellotti, did an amazing job in gathering and penning extensive historic and technical content and information on such an icon of automobile engineering, the 917! What a BOOK....!
