Martin Rudow brings a unique background to the world of motorsports. After teenage years spent as avid car racing fan, at different points in his life he served in Vietnam as an infantry medic, nearly made the U.S. Olympic Team as an athlete and then DID make several Olympic teams as a coach and official, helped start Runner’s World magazine, and has written eleven published books and videos. He currently is active in vintage racing and is past President of SOVREN, his local vintage racing club. He lives with his wife of 51 years on Whidbey Island, Washington. He is writing new books on motorsports history and runs rudo-mart.com, a racing memorabilia sales website.
