An architect and businessman from Milan, Corrado Lopresto is no doubt the most famous of all Italian collectors of historic vehicles. His cars, all Italian one-offs, prototypes, or specials, have been stars at various concours d'elegance events the world over, with more than 280 prizes won, including 60 Best of Shows. Lopresto is well known for his exceptional attention to restoring automobiles whilst retaining what can be preserved or conserved, an attribute which has been recognized by UNESCO at the FIVA special exhibition at its Paris headquarters in 2016. Lopresto is also famous for his extensive archives of original automotive documents.
